Ch. 14: A House for all Nations

Familia Menendez is currently stepping into a significant moment of ministry in Guatemala. Today, they are traveling to San Marcos—a town nearly six hours away—for a three-day training with a congregation they recently began equipping  in establishing Houses of Prayer.

This return trip marks an important step forward. What began as an initial investment is now growing deeper.

Since returning from the Middle East this past fall, God has been strategically positioning Familia Menendez to serve the corporate Church across Guatemala. Through their ministry, congregations throughout the nation are being equipped, unified, and strengthened.

Out of this season, a bold vision has emerged: to see a House of Prayer established in all 23 departments of Guatemala. Each training, including this current trip to San Marcos, is a meaningful step toward that vision becoming reality.

PrayWith Us.

As Familia Menendez continues this work, prayer remains vital. Please pray for:

  • Protection & Travel Safety – Cover the team as they travel long distances and ask for reliable transportation and safe passage.

  • Unity & Spiritual Alignment – Pray for deep unity within the team as they step into what they believe is a timely assignment for their nation.

  • Wisdom & Discernment – Ask the Lord to guide every moment of training, that they would clearly hear His voice and lead with spiritual authority and sensitivity.

In recent weeks, Familia Menendez hosted a World Race Gap Year Team who served alongside them for two months. The team’s final in Guatemala overlapped with a Parent Vision Trip, creating a powerful opportunity for families to encounter God together in the House of Prayer.

During that time, many experienced deep moments of revelation, reconciliation, and renewed connection between parents and their children. There was a tangible sense of joy in the presence of the Lord.

Now, a new World Race Journey team is serving with them for the next three weeks. Prayer is appreciated for open hearts as these young adults encounter God and step into a new understanding of ministry.

Meanwhile, the work of prayer continues daily. Worship and intercession are being lifted up throughout the week, with faithful watchmen on the walls contending for their nation.
