Alabaster Foundation approved and released a special one-time grant of $6,200 to Joysprings for urgent school repairs and official government registration. This grant was entirely funded out of the Alabaster Foundation general fund.
These upgrades included:
Renovation of sanitation facilities
A new handwashing station
Improved classroom lighting and ventilation
Desks for upper-grade students
Preschool mattresses and supplies
Kitchen health and safety upgrades
This project was more than bricks and mortar—it secured Joysprings’ future as a legally recognized, safe, and thriving school in the heart of Kibera. We were humbled that God allowed us to stand alongside them in this milestone.

$5,584.53 through the Guatemala Outreach Team Grant
We sent a four-person team from Alabaster Foundation to Antigua, Guatemala to personally serve alongside Familia Menendez. This grant covered airfare, accommodations, ground transportation, and the resources needed to support their local ministry efforts—including outreach to vulnerable individuals, food distribution, and discipleship gatherings. Your gift directly enabled this team’s mission of service, prayer, and partnership. -
$10,200 raised for the Pakistani Educational Academy Grant
Your donation to the Pakistani Educational Academy Grant empowered 150 youth in rural Punjab with vital computer skills, breaking cycles of poverty while offering them and their families the transformative hope of the Gospel through education. -
$13,130.39 raised for the Campus Improvement Grant
Your donation to the Family Church Campus Improvement Grant helped send a team of 11 volunteers to Lawrence, Kansas to complete much-needed upgrades to the church campus and worship center. Your donation directly supported this effort by covering flights, ground travel, team meals, supplies for evangelism, contracted audio/visual professionals, material costs for improvements to the front entrance and front lobby, as well as a new stage and lighting design. These renovations made the church’s environment more welcoming and drastically improved both the in-person and online worship experience for the congregation. -
$1,897.66 raised for the Middle East Prayer House Grant
Your donation to the Middle East Prayer House Ministry Partner Grant helped send full-time missionaries Willy, Sofia, Daniela, and Valeria Menendez to the nations of Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo, and Turkey. While serving in the Middle East, Familia Menendez sustained existing prayer houses through biblically led intercession and worship, trained new workers to lead in the prayer houses, and taught teams about the significance of establishing houses of prayer in specific geographical locations (1 Chronicles 5). As they traveled throughout the Middle East, they sought the Lord’s direction in finding a home for future use as a permanent house of prayer and a training center for missionaries from around the world to minister in the region. This grant went toward their travel, accommodations, and training expenses. -
Raised $2,500 for the Guatemalan Boys Orphanage Grant
Your donation to the Guatemalan Boys Orphanage Ministry Partner Grant helped send a two-person team from Care & Company to Guatemala to minister at a boys’ orphanage. While serving in Antigua, Care & Company distributed complete hygiene kits and clothing to sixty orphaned boys and shared the comforting love of Christ with them. This grant covered airfare, transport of supplies, ground transportation, accommodations, hygiene kit materials, and clothing for the boys. -
Raised $6,000 through the Audio Visual Technician Grant
The Family Church A/V Technician Grant provided funding to employ a part-time team member. Over the course of one year, the A/V Technician:Installed all of the hardware necessary for a complete livestream video system, programmed and configured the required software, operated, maintained, and repaired sound, lighting, and video equipment and infrastructure for use in weekly services, and oversaw the digital distribution of all sermons through a variety of channels.
This position directly contributed to Family Church’s “Reach Beyond the Walls” initiative. Family Church was given a NOW ministry by the Lord and felt compelled to deliver the covenant message of “Preparing the Bride” across the nation and beyond.
